It was all Max's idea to take his Snoopy dog out on a walk. A real walk outside, folks. Clever boy just one day decided it would make more sense to walk this little wooden doggie outside of the house, same as how Momma walks FurFur.
Let's talk about Snoopy for a minute, shall we? Snoopy is circa 1984; it was my beloved toy when I was around three years old and I have distinct memories of wheeling him around everywhere. And now it is Max's beloved toy. Snoopy was in mint condition all this time until today, when Momma broke one of his swinging ears by mistake. Oops. Also, Snoopy has a snazzy, new DIY pink leash courtesy of GongGong who brought it all the way from Florida for Max.
Back to Clever Boy. This kid's going places, he knows exactly what he wants, even at an early age. When he wants "out," he toddles over to our shoe area, brings me his socks, then his shoes, one at a time, so I can put them on for him. Then he toddles over to the kitchen counter and points up at it, going "Ah! Ah!" This means he wants me to take FurFur's leash down and put it on. Then he toddles over to Snoopy, wheels him to the front door, then knock-knock. This means he wants me to open the door. Sometimes he even takes his plastic keys and tries himself! All while flashing me cheeky smiles. See what I mean? Go-getter. The boss of me.
It's so cute that Max has his own dog to walk... :)
