Strolling in the Gold Coast

_DSC0704

Going to the Gold Coast neighborhood in Chicago always makes me feel like I'm Pretty Woman on Rodeo Drive. Oak Street is lined with graceful, old trees and high-end shops like Prada and Jimmy Choo and luxury boutiques like Sofia. You stroll leisurely here, you don't rush. You put on your best furs and Louboutins and you amble around as if you don't have a care in the world. It beckons a certain clientele to open their purse strings, but is also the place in the city to simply window-lust, like over this fantastical Prada gem of a handbag. Yes, please!

I wore blouse Topshop, jeans Anthropologie, vest French Connection, studded belt Streets Ahead via Filene's Basement, leather jacket from London, and booties Modcloth.com.

  1. Ohhh, I remember walking through this area with Leslee and having a religious experience.
