Baby Max had his 6-month wellness visit with the doctor yesterday. He now weighs 15lb 5oz (10 to 25th percentile) and is 27.5 in... that's in the 75 to 90th percentile!!! For having non-tall parents, this is both surprising and awesome! I'm signing him up for NBA! Our pediatrician still stresses the importance of baby tummy time to help work their core muscles. Tummy time can also consist of sitting up in "tripod stance" (where the baby holds themselves upright with their hands planted in front) and rolling around. Literally, like overnight this weekend, it seems that Baby Max decided he doesn't mind playing by himself for a long period (note that "long" in baby world means like 10 minutes).
Besides this, Max was also a perfect angel all weekend when The Fella was around, super smiley and happy. He's making me look bad in front of The Fella, who totally doesn't believe me whenever I say how hard it is that the baby always wants me to hold or interact with him, or how uncontrollably fussy he was the previous two days!

Max actually does okay now on tummy time, whereas even just two weeks before he would have been screaming like a banshee. See below.
