The weekend, part 3: Korean bbq, etc.

And finally, besides other fun activities like splashing around and Basil Fest, I shopped a huge consignment sale for serious steals on baby toys and clothes (this was quite the experience in itself, lots of moms throwing elbows and such!). I also got to catch up with a friend who was in Chicago for the holiday weekend.

We used to gripe about our pain-in-the-ass clients over lunch at a small Korean restaurant across from the old office, so thought it would be fun to recreate those times right here in my neighborhood. Minus the PITA (pain in the ass) clients. In my opinion, there's really no better comfort food than Korean bbq and housemade kimchi-stuffed dumplings on a slightly blustery, rainy day. It was so good I'm bringing back The Fella and Max this weekend––I can't wait to try a big, steaming bowl of noodle soup!
