This boy is fancy! Here we are having lunch a couple weeks ago at the cafe at ikram, a designer boutique in Chicago affectionately known as "The Red Box" for its shiny, sleek red square structure easily spotted from a mile away! It kinda reminds me of a glossy fashion mag.
We first perused the well-curated selection of designer jewelry and clothing on two impeccably designed levels, followed by a simple lunch made of seasonal ingredients: a rutabaga soup with spiced cinnamon and cayenne, and a creamy burrata. Perfectly portioned and so satisfying!
Food was stellar, but the best part, for me, was meeting Ikram Goldman herself. She's the owner of this amazing boutique and there she was, greeting customers and having lunch herself at the table behind us with her twin daughters and hubby. Just another Monday afternoon. They looked right at home. And finally, there's always time for a little photo shoot . . .
Max looks like a model for kids clothing! He could be in GQ magazine cover when he grows older! ;-)
