Before we knew it, we officially said goodbye to summer a week ago. But before that happened, we finally managed to hit the condo association's pool for the first (and only) time before it closed for the season. (We tried one other time at the start of summer, but that never panned out because someone had a meltdown before we could even cross the parking lot.) So here we are now, better late than never – the last time was in Mexico when Max was 18 months!
Other highlights from our first summer in Maryland included:
- Frequenting the National Building Museum in the city (Momma's job in construction marketing might have something to do with this). Oh MAN, an entire museum dedicated to building! Max can create (and smash) to his little heart's content!
- Our first Maryland crabfeast when my family came to town!
- New playgrounds! With old-fashioned choo-choo trains!
- Tractor rides on U-Pick farms!
- My 32nd birthday!
- Dining al fresco!
- New hair!
