#13 Walk on the Brooklyn Bridge.
When I lived in Miami, I rarely went to the beach. It's almost unfathomable to believe that the number of beach outings had can be counted on one hand. Same thing with New York. I've never been inside the Empire State Building or ridden one of those double-decker tour buses. Even visiting NYC as often as I have while growing up, for some reason, we never walked on the Brooklyn Bridge. It's a true icon of the city, connecting two great metropolises and possessing a wealth of historical and cultural significance, and yet it's one I've never experienced. (Driving on it, now that's a different story.) I'm pretty freaked out by heights, bridges in particular (there I go again, being ironic and all), but I had to put this on my list. I'm sure it'll be amazing to check out the spectacular views by foot!
#30 Be a part of the outside audience at Rockefeller Plaza for the filming of The Today Show.

I absolutely *love* The Today Show, a staple of American television since the early 1950s. Ann Curry is my fave. Next to FurFur, it's my faithful companion every morning while I get ready for work. For at least 10 years – don't ask why – I've wanted to be one of those cheesy tourists in the audience who gets to shake hands with Al Roker. And then the reality of waking up at the ass crack of dawn to stand in a line settles in and squashes the notion. But, as long as I have this list thing going (and the shame of flaking out before my very own friends), I might as well make this happen before I turn 30 and am even less inclined to wave around silly, handmade signs. It's now or never!
I can only hope that my next adventures are going to be as thrilling and satisfying as my first one! NY, NY here I come!
