Hello, everyone! Things have been busy, but this is what I wore to work on Thursday, returning after Snowmageddon 2011! My work relaxed our "Jeans Only on Casual Friday" policy after the New Year––expanding it to allow them on any day, minus client meetings––and I still can't get used to the weird feeling I get when I pull them on on a Thursday. (Mostly because when Friday rolls around, I'm like, oh sh*t!, I can't wear my jeans two days in a row, now what do I do?!)
Lately I've been experimenting with wearing belts over blouses and cardigans––I like skinny ones best, but I see wide belts are making a comeback on runways this Spring! The belted look is a new look for me this year, and I think it adds a pop of interest without needing to be expensive. Not to mention that it gives the illusion of an hour glass figure on little ol' me! I'm wearing Anthropologie's Ice Age faux fur jacket with ruffles, mixed with my luscious mink fur hat from Russia.
