One Year Ago: Quintessential Maui, part 1

On this bitterly cold January morning (11 degrees!) I was remembering how exactly one year ago to this day, The Fella and I were laying around on black sand beaches and breathtaking cliffs. He was there for a "conference," and I was there because well, do I need a reason? I put "conference" in quotes because really, what is a true, working conference in Maui?? In between cocktails with friends, hiking and helicopter rides, there was lots and lots of lounging in and around the stunning Wailea Beach Mariott Resort & Spa. I never had a chance to process our hundreds of photos because, not too long after returning, I found out I was pregnant and there suddenly was a million and one things to do! In Maui, life's a beach, so here's my little jaunt down sunny memory lane, one year later... conference? What conference?
