#Winning

We all know I'm kinda a whore for free stuff and entering contests and winning things like dinners, parties, even a House Beautiful coffee table book of their annual "Blue" edition. (If you don't believe me, just see here, here and here.) Well, as luck would have it, over the holidays I added two more wins to my collection, a dinner for two at The Lobby in a five-star hotel and a pair of starry-print shorts from Topshop! 

Sometime back in November during my post-baby fog, it appears that I entered The Peninsula Hotel's 10-Year Anniversary Holiday Sweepstakes. I was probably nursing Baby Max for like the tenth time that day, operating on 3 to 4 hours of sleep a day back then. I still have no recollection about entering, but was recently notified that I won the dinner, one of their three prize giveaways. Perhaps a fancy 5-year wedding anniversary dinner in April is in order? And the news was delivered in a fancy schmancy package, too! 

As for the Topshop shorts, I won it in a Twitter styling contest over Christmas. I tweeted: "Wear star spangled shorts w/ oversized black blazer, opaque black tights & metallic silver pumps from yesterday's treat!" The shorts are super fly, but you'll just have to take my word as I have yet to receive them.
