This is not how I imagined spending my first few days in Maui, blogging away and also working on my newest venture in the lobby in my beachfront hotel, a prisoner to the never-ending downpour that is rumored to last everyday for the next week that we are here. Granted, the lobby is not boxed in by four walls; instead it is open and has wall-to-wall glass on one side, letting out to a spectacular view of the stormy ocean dotted by furiously waving palm trees. It’s not a bad view, no, not at all. I even took a romantic walk on the cliffs overlooking the ocean in the rain. Never mind that it was with myself. It's romantic because I’m in Hawaii and not Chicago: cue the moody skies, drizzling rain, stunning views by the beach, then the downpour. Ah, Paradise!
