A fancy restaurant outing to Aria certainly calls for an opportunity to get dolled up! Okay, who am I kidding? I can always find a reason to dress up! I wore a new black leather shift dress (which came out of the holiday "Dress Fund" courtesy of my baby sis) and my trusty black blazer. I've been re-wearing this blazer over and over again since Baby J's baptism as seen here, on New Year's Eve with skinny dark jeans, and then finally to Aria for dinner. I find that I like this blazer a whole lot more ever since I discovered a less formal, less corporate look by simply rolling up the sleeves (shockingly obvious, I know!), and with a sparkly brooch on the lapel. You don't need any other accessories!
I had yelled at The Fella for taking this crooked, non-eye level photo, but as it turns out, the angle gives the (fake) illusion of long legs. So I take it back, Fella, thanks for giving me long legs! And here is the non-crooked photo...
