The weekend, succinctly

A productive weekend, spent running errands and trying to get back on track with healthy cooking. The past month was stressful both at work and home, trying to reverse my bad car jujus, dealing with condo association drama, and lots and lots of work, so you can imagine why advance prep of weekday meals did not top my list.

On my walk to pick up my car from the auto body shop, spotted the most *dazzling* creation ever to grace this planet. Now I totally understand what Rachel Zoe means when she exclaims "I die!". Just so you know, I didn't even dare going in to find out the price tag. It took all my willpower to resist.

Also spent some time leisurely browsing the fiction section in the public library, and checked out two mysteries by Mary Higgins Clark whose books I used to indulge in during high school. And did you know that you can get all the latest magazines at the library???

Rocked out to Brit-Brit music videos circa early 2000's during a weekend cooking marathon. The result? Baked Tilapia, Roasted Vegetables, and Raw Kale Salad.

And a little Autumn inspiration to leave you with... hope you had a lovely first weekend in October!
