SATC 2 night out

"Girls Night Out" with my favorite Chicago ladies began with dinner and wine flights at Webster Wine Bar followed by – yes, you guessed it – Sex & The City 2, the movie! If you haven't been to Webster Wine Bar in Chicago, I highly recommend it. It's right across the Webster Place Theater, so you can conveniently have awesome food and a show.

We ordered a bunch of small plates to share, including Assorted Cured Meats with a Cabot Clothbound Vermont Cheddar and Malvarosa Manchego; Sauteed Piquillo Peppers stuffed with Cheese and Herbs; Garlicky Hummus; Warmed Brie with Roasted Garlic; and Ratatouille with Grilled Toast Points. I especially LOVE the candied pecans served alongside the cured meats plate.

SATC 2 wasn't so bad, either. There were gaggles of girls, some in high fashion and heels, others donning giant bird feathers, giant bows, and/or giant flowers disguised as headbands. (But I'll admit it. I LOVED watching the Ultimate Chick Flick with my girlfriends! Plus, SJP's new apartment with Big is to die for!)
