This Saturday's Weekend Edition of RedEye: "ARE YOU A PLANT KILLER?" in screaming letters – and a sad sunflower to prove their point – across the front page.Why do I feel like this was directed to me?
I read the feature article that recommended specific plants for the various kinds of plant killers. Evidently I am a mix of the "Space Cadet" and "Dungeon Dweller" varieties. Despite mounting evidence of my lack of a green thumb, I still want to add some doses of living organisms (that's how they begin, anyway) to my household. The Fella says I can't have any more, but I think I will go pick up some colorful wax begonias next weekend... It's ok, people, RedEye says I can't kill these.
