A healthy, California-inspired lunch

I was feeling very SoCal today. A combination of things – kickin' off the morning with a dose of Katy Perry's retro-summer musical style on The Today Show, chatting with Maya in San Diego about the La Jolla Open Aire Market, and a surprise Friday half day, escaping into blue skies, sunshine, and crisp breeze – inspired a late afternoon nibble on warm pita with juicy Roma tomatoes and homemade pesto, fresh mushrooms, and hummus.
