Baked with love for the holidays...

Look what I found at my doorstep Friday night when I came home from work! A yummy holiday care package from Miss Leslee, baked with love all the way from North Carolina and sent via the United States Postal Santa! (How did you know I was going need this after a Very Long Day with clients on a press check way out in the sticks?) I've always loved the idea of gifting homemade goodies for the holidays. Maybe next year I'll have to make that my goal, plus another holiday card*, of course. Thanks, Leslee!

And speaking of express holiday sentiment, we've received so many thoughtful/festive/quirky/beautiful holiday cards from family and friends, so many of whom have moved across the country in the last year or two. We're so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives, both near and far!

* Quick update on #19 Design and send a family holiday card of my 30 for 30 project. It's getting to be the nth hour, the holidays are right around the corner and Snapfish still hasn't delivered the finished product, even though the website says it shipped out on December 10th! I know you really want our ugly mugs smiling at you from your mantel or coffee table this holiday season, so please be patient. Kids, I promise, it's gonna be good.

It just might have to be a Happy New Year card.
