Anyway, today's outfit is a very old sweater from my early college days. Swear. It even has my initial "J" embroidered in the upper left (covered by my scarf in this picture), a style that is very telling of 1999 or 2000, back when little embroidered initials on sweaters were all the rage. It's just the right shade of festive holiday red over black and white paisley. The three-quarter length sleeves are perfect when layered over a silk DVF blouse with full sleeves and helps to emphasize the delicate line of buttons going up the lower arms.

OOTD: Holiday red + DVF silk
I must confess, today's Outfit of the Day is actually from Sunday. Noone I know has seen this yet, and it was just so damn cold this morning that I didn't bother trying to invent some other fashionable combination of layers from my closet when it served me just fine then. As my *favorite* saying in marketing and advertising goes, Why reinvent the wheel? Or, If it ain't broke, why fix it? Or, Okay, you get the point.
